About The Johnny Cash Birthday Bash

When Johnny Cash passed away in 2003, local songwriter Alex Battles changed his next scheduled show to a tribute to the Man In Black. A year later, Battles started the CasHank Hootenanny Jamboree at Buttermilk, a jam dedicated to singing along raucously to country music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
